Packing Slips in Zelph
Every time a seller submits inventory to your network — whether shipping in or dropping off — Zelph automatically generates a packing slip. The slip is the seller’s shipping instructions and your inbound proof of what should arrive. This guide covers what’s on it, where to find it, and how it’s used.
Packing slips are part of the Zelph Seller Network, available on the Consignment plan.
When a packing slip is generated
Automatically — the moment a seller creates a shipment for inventory they’re submitting to you. There’s no manual “generate” button to click.
You’ll see one created for every:
- Ship-to-Warehouse shipment a seller arranges to your authentication location.
- Drop-off arrangement where a seller is bringing goods in person.
- Remote Sell dispatch (when a customer orders a Trusted Seller’s item and the seller is shipping direct).
What’s on the slip
Every packing slip includes the following sections:
- Header — Zelph logo (left), your workspace logo (right), and the title “PACKING SLIP”.
- Order reference — order number (if it’s a customer-driven Remote Sell shipment), or the seller’s submission reference.
- Must ship by — a deadline date (2 business days from creation) to keep dispatches moving.
- From (Seller) — the seller’s name, business name, shipping address, and contact details.
- Ship To — the destination address. For Ship-to-Warehouse this is your authentication location; for Trusted-Seller Remote Sell shipments it’s the customer’s address.
- Fulfillment details — a badge showing either “Ship via carrier” or “Drop off at warehouse”, plus any notes specific to the shipment.
- Instructions & tracking (for non-Trusted Sellers) — step-by-step packing instructions, the carrier name, and the tracking number. If your EasyPost integration is on, the tracking link is included too.
- Items table — every product title, variant, and quantity in the shipment.
- QR code (non-Trusted Sellers) — scannable code that links to the authentication page for fast lookup when the shipment arrives.
- Footer — generation timestamp and support contact.
Where to find and download the slip
For sellers
When a seller creates a shipment in their dashboard, the success notification includes a Print Packing Slip button. They can also download it later from their inventory list — any item that’s part of an active shipment shows a packing slip link.
For you (retailer running the network)
Open Users > Sellers, click into the seller’s profile, and switch to the Shipments tab. Every shipment lists its packing slip — click Packing Slip to open the PDF in a new tab.
From the Authenticate Shipment page
If you’re authenticating an inbound shipment, the page includes a View Packing Slip link in the Shipment Details section so you can cross-check what arrived against what was packed.
Is the packing slip emailed?
The slip itself isn’t attached to any email — it’s downloadable from the dashboard only. Sellers see the link in their shipment notification and can pull it again any time.
Can you regenerate one?
The packing slip URL is saved against the shipment record and stays available indefinitely. You don’t need to regenerate — just open it from the shipment row whenever you need it.
If you genuinely need a fresh version (for example, the seller’s details changed after the shipment was created), contact support@zelph.com and we’ll handle it.
Why packing slips matter
- They give sellers everything needed to pack and dispatch correctly — no email back-and-forth.
- They provide an audit trail: when stock arrives, you can match the physical contents to the slip.
- The QR code speeds up authentication — scan and jump straight to the right Inventory Review.
- The “Must ship by” date is a gentle deadline that keeps consigners accountable.
