Managing Sellers in Zelph
If you run a consignment or seller-network programme, the Sellers directory is where you manage every external supplier or consigner who lists stock with you. Each seller has a profile, contact details, a trust status, and their own inventory history.
Sellers is part of the Zelph Seller Network, available on the Consignment plan.
Where to find it
Go to Users > Sellers in the sidebar. You’ll see a table of every seller on your network with their name, email, onboarding status, trust status, last login, and account creation date.
Adding a seller
Most sellers are added via the seller onboarding flow rather than manually. Once a seller signs up against your workspace, they appear in this list automatically.
You can also click Create if you need to add a seller record yourself — enter their name, email, phone, and basic business details.
Editing a seller
Click into a seller’s row to open their profile. From there you can update:
- Personal details: Name, email, phone, date of birth, gender
- Business details: Business name, business registration number, VAT registration
- Trust Settings: Whether the seller is marked as a Trusted Seller (see below)
Trusted Sellers
The Trusted Seller toggle is one of the most important settings on each seller’s profile. Turning it on:
- Allows the seller to ship remote-sell products directly to the customer without going through your warehouse authentication.
- Reveals the customer’s shipping address to that seller so they can print labels and dispatch the order.
⚠️ Only enable Trusted Seller for sellers you have a written agreement with and trust to handle customer data and fulfilment responsibly. You can disable it again at any time.
Reviewing a seller’s inventory
From a seller’s profile, click View Inventory to see every variant they’ve submitted, including:
- Quantity submitted, accepted, sold, and returned
- Each variant’s status in your inventory pipeline
- Any pending Inventory Reviews
This is the quickest way to audit a single seller’s contribution to your catalogue.
Removing or restoring a seller
Click the Delete action on a seller’s row to soft-delete them. Their inventory is hidden but not permanently destroyed. If you change your mind, click Restore to reactivate the seller and any inventory linked to them.
What sellers see on their side
Each seller logs into their own scoped view of Zelph where they can:
- Submit new inventory for your review
- View the status of their existing stock
- Request withdrawals of unsold inventory
- Track payouts for sold items
You stay in control of which submissions are approved — see Inventory Reviews.
