Adding a payment method
Zelph uses Stripe to securely add your preferred payment method. We recommend adding a bank account due to the lower fees.
Instantly Adding Your Bank Account
This option requires you to log into your bank, so you'll need your login email and password. To add your account using this method:
- Click "Instant".
- Find your banking institution.
- Enter your login information when prompted.
Manually Adding a Bank Account
This method requires your sort code and account number and will need to be verified approximately 24 hours after adding. To add your account using this method:
- Click "Manual".
- Enter your sort code and account number.
- After 24 hours, check your account for a deposit.
- Navigate to "Settings" > "Payment and Pricing" > "Verify Account" in the Zelph app.
- Enter the code from the deposit.
Adding Your Payment Method After Onboarding
If you weren't able to add your payment method during onboarding, you can do so at any time in the Zelph app. Simply navigate to "Settings" > "Payment and Pricing" and select one of the methods mentioned above.
Why Do I Need to Add a Payment Method?
Zelph will charge this payment method weekly to collect suppliers' commission and shipping fees that should be passed through to the supplier. You can read more about these charges here.
