Quick Guide to Supplier Operations on Zelph
Zelph helps suppliers scale their reach by connecting their products to multiple retailers โ without giving up control. You manage your catalogue, inventory, and fulfilment as normal, while Zelph handles syncing, routing, and automated order flows across the retailer network.
๐งฉ 1. Supplying Products on Zelph
As a supplier on Zelph, you retain full control over:
- Your product catalogue (titles, descriptions, media, SKUs)
- Your cost prices
- Your inventory levels and stock locations
- Which retailers get access to your products โ and on what commercial terms
Zelph ensures all data flows are permissioned, auditable, and automated.
๐ 2. Adding Products
You can create and manage your products in either Zelph or Shopify โ thanks to full two-way syncing.
Option A: Add products in Zelph
- Create products manually in Zelph using the Products > Create flow
- Add variants, media, logistics details, inventory, and pricing
- Products will sync to your connected Shopify store(s)
Option B: Add products in Shopify โ
- If your Shopify store is connected to Zelph:
- Any new product you create in Shopify will be automatically ingested into Zelph
- Product updates (titles, images, descriptions, variants) are also synced back to Zelph
- Inventory changes made in Shopify (manually or via app/integration) are also reflected in Zelph in real time
๐ง This means you can keep Shopify as your single source of truth โ no need to manage duplicate catalogues.
๐ 3. Retailer Subscriptions & Pricing Negotiation
Once your products are live in Zelph, retailers can request to subscribe to them.
Hereโs how it works:
Retailers submit a pricing proposal with their suggested commission or margin
You can:
- Accept the proposal
- Send a counter-offer
- Reject it entirely
- Once both sides agree, Zelph automatically syncs the product and approved retail price to the retailerโs store
As the supplier, you always control:
- Product data (title, description, images)
- Inventory
- Cost price
- Final approval of any pricing terms
๐ 4. Order Fulfilment
When a customer places an order on a retailer's Shopify store that includes your product:
The order is routed to you through Zelph
Youโll receive:
- Customer name & shipping address
- Retailer name and order reference
- Product & quantity details
You can fulfill the order in either:
Option A: Directly in Zelph
- Upload tracking number and courier info
- Mark the order as fulfilled
Option B: Directly in Shopify โ
If you're connected to Shopify, just fulfill as you normally would
Zelph will detect the fulfilment, extract the tracking info, and:
- Update the retailerโs Shopify order with fulfilment status
- Push tracking details automatically
๐ Whether you use Zelph or Shopify, the end-customer gets a seamless experience.
๐ฆ 5. Inventory Management & Sync
Zelph syncs your inventory across all subscribing retailers and connected stores:
Changes made in Zelph or Shopify will instantly reflect across the entire ecosystem
When an item is sold on any connected retailer store:
- Inventory is deducted in real time
- Remaining stock is synced across other channels
๐ง This ensures a single source of inventory, powering multiple retailer storefronts, with no duplication or overselling.
