Setting up shipping

Setting up shipping in Zelph varies based on your Shopify plan. Here's how to configure shipping for both Basic and Advanced/Plus plans:

For Shopify Advanced and Plus Plans:

  • Automatic Canal Delivery Profile: Upon installing the Zelph app, a Zelph Delivery Profile is automatically added to your App Shipping Profiles. This profile manages shipping rates for Zelph products according to the terms agreed upon in your proposal.
  • Dynamic Shipping Rates: With the Zelph Delivery Profile, you can opt for dynamic shipping rates, allowing the Supplier's shipping rates to be directly applied at checkout.

For Shopify Basic Plan:

  • Flat Rate Shipping Profiles: When a proposal is accepted, Zelph sets up a new shipping profile with the agreed-upon flat rate for each Supplier. If shipping terms are renegotiated, Zelph updates the rate automatically.
  • Accessing Dynamic Rates: To use Supplier's dynamic rates on the Basic plan, you need to upgrade your Shopify account to include carrier shipping or switch to Shopify Yearly Billing. After upgrading, contact Zelph support to enable this feature.

Managing Free Shipping Thresholds:

  • Combined Thresholds: By default, both your products and Supplier products contribute to your site's free shipping threshold, enhancing the customer experience.
  • Separate Thresholds: If you prefer Supplier products not to count toward your free shipping threshold, navigate to Settings > Shipping & Orders in the Zelph app and select "Separated" for the Free Shipping Contribution setting.

Note: To accurately calculate shipping totals, ensure both the Zelph for Retailers and Zelph for Suppliers apps are installed and properly configured.
