Zelph guide to Shopify
Here's a comprehensive guide to integrating Zelph with your Shopify store:
Setting Up a Zelph Product
Creating products powered by Zelph is straightforward:
- Access the Products Tab:
In your Shopify admin, navigate to the Products section.
Select the Desired Product:
Click on the product you wish to configure.
Update Product Details:
Modify the Title, Description, and Images as needed to align with your brand.
Assign Sales Channels:
Ensure the product is available on the appropriate sales channels by selecting them accordingly.
- Confirm Product Organisation Information:
- Product Category:
- Verify the product category to ensure accurate tax calculations.
- Shopify may suggest a category; either accept it or update as necessary.
- Ensure your tax compliance separately in Settings > Taxes.
- Fulfilment Service:
- Ensure the product is tagged with "Fulfilled by Zelph" to designate the correct fulfilment method.
- Collections and Tags:
- Add the product to relevant collections.
- If your collections use tags for organisation, add the appropriate tags here.
Creating a Shipping Profile for Each Supplier Partner
To ensure customers are charged the shipping rates agreed upon in your proposals:
- Access Shipping Settings:
In your Shopify admin, go to Settings and select Shipping and delivery.
Create a New Shipping Profile:
Click on Create new profile.
Name the Profile:
- Enter a descriptive name, such as "[SupplierBrandName] Shipping Profile - Zelph".
It's recommended to create one profile per supplier.
Add Products to the Profile:
Search for and select the products associated with this supplier.
Set Up Shipping Zones:
Create a shipping zone, typically for the United Kingdom, unless your supplier ships to other regions.
Add Shipping Rates:
Input the shipping rates as agreed upon with your supplier, whether flat rates or free shipping.
Manage Products in the Profile:
- Ensure all products from the supplier are included in this profile.
If you add new products in the future, remember to include them in the appropriate shipping profile, as they default to the general profile.
Save the Profile:
- Click Save to apply the new shipping profile.
By following these steps, you can effectively integrate Zelph with your Shopify store, ensuring accurate product listings and shipping configurations that align with your supplier agreements.
