How to setup multi-store syncing in Zelph
Managing product listings and inventory across multiple Shopify stores can be a nightmare. That’s why Zelph supports Multi-Store syncing — giving you one source of truth for your products, inventory, and updates.
💡 What is Multi-Store?
Multi-Store in Zelph allows you to:
- Connect multiple Shopify storefronts (e.g. UK, EU, US).
- Manage a single product record across all stores.
- Keep inventory, titles, descriptions, and other product info in sync.
- Automatically update all stores when changes are made in Zelph or Shopify.
🧵 Real-World Example
Let’s say you sell an XS White T-Shirt, and you operate three stores:
- Shopify UK
- Shopify EU
- Shopify US
Traditionally, you’d have to duplicate the product three times, manually sync inventory, and update titles or descriptions across all stores.
With Zelph, you only need to create the product once. Then:
- Connect all 3 Shopify stores under Stores.
- Enable the product on each store.
- Add your inventory once — it’s instantly shared across all connected stores.
🔁 Live Inventory Sync Example
- You add 5 units of XS White T-Shirt.
- You connect the product to Shopify UK, EU, and US.
- A customer orders 1 unit on Shopify EU.
Zelph will automatically:
- Decrease inventory to 4 units.
- Sync that updated quantity to all stores instantly.
✅ No risk of overselling.
🔄 Product Update Sync
- You update the product title, description, or media in Zelph.
- That update automatically appears across all connected Shopify stores.
And even better — it works both ways:
🔁 2-Way Sync from Shopify
Zelph also supports two-way syncing with Shopify:
- If you update a product title, description, or inventory directly in Shopify, Zelph will detect that change, ingest it, and update the same product across all your other stores.
🔒 Note: If you’ve set up Price Overrides for a store, Zelph will not overwrite those prices — even if a change is made in Shopify. Your override will stay intact.
✅ How to Connect an Additional Store
Adding a second, third, or fourth Shopify store works the same way as the first:
- From the store you want to connect, open the Zelph app on the Shopify App Store and click Install.
- Approve the permissions Shopify shows.
- You’ll be redirected to Zelph. Sign in with your existing Zelph account.
- The new store appears under Stores automatically.
- On the store’s page in Zelph, click Ingest products and Ingest inventory to pull its existing catalogue into Zelph.
No tokens, custom apps, or copy-paste — installing the app once per store is enough.
📦 Enabling a Product on Each Store
For each product you want to sell across multiple stores:
- Open the product in Zelph.
- Go to Availability > Stores.
- Tick the stores you want to sync to.
- Save.
Inventory is shared automatically. If you want different prices per store, see How to Use Price Override in Zelph.
🗺 Multiple stores with shared warehouses
If two of your stores share a physical warehouse, set up Location Mapping so inventory at that warehouse appears correctly in every store. Otherwise Zelph will treat the matching locations as separate by default.
You’re all set
You’re now managing one product across multiple channels — with central control, unified inventory, and automatic syncing.
